Job Description

Skills Provision is searching for a Senior Accountant for an organisation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The hiring company operates in the rapidly expanding Esports market, bringing together the best visual and game-play experience for worldwide enthusiasts. A work permit is available for this position.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline. Professional certification, such as CPA, CMA, or SOCPA, is preferred
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years’ progressive experience in accounting, ideally gained within the Saudi Arabian market
  • In-depth understanding of IFRS, Saudi tax legislation, and corporate governance frameworks
  • Proficient in ERP and accounting software, with advanced competency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and organisational abilities, coupled with clear and effective communication skills
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is considered advantageous

What you'll do

  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliation activities
  • Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring alignment with IFRS standards and applicable local regulations
  • Monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow to inform strategic decision-making at the management level
  • Maintain full compliance with ZATCA requirements, including VAT, Withholding Tax, and other relevant Saudi fiscal obligations
  • Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders to facilitate statutory audits and regulatory reporting
  • Contribute to internal governance frameworks, financial control processes, and the integration of ERP systems, including People365
  • Deliver financial analysis and reports to senior management, identifying key risks and potential opportunities
